Ingredients:

For the Spiced Syrup:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup Butter Than Jam Apple Cinnamon Bliss fruit butter
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise

For the Sangria:
- The spiced simple syrup
- 1 bottle dry white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc work well)
- 2 medium oranges, thinly sliced
- 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
- 1 cup frozen cranberries
- 1 bottle prosecco
- Extra cinnamon sticks and anise stars, for garnish
Instructions:

Make the Spiced Syrup:
- Combine sugar, water, cinnamon sticks, and star anise in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until sugar dissolves.
- Stir in fruit butter and then remove from heat.
- Let cool completely.

Assemble the Sangria:
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled simple syrup and white wine.
- Stir in the orange and apple slices.
- Stir in the prosecco and frozen cranberries.
- Garnish with extra anise stars.
- Chill for at least 1 hour, or up to 5 hours, before serving.
Tip
- Add one cinnamon stick to each glass.
