Apple Butter Vinaigrette: A Sweet and Tangy Twist

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup Butter Than Jam Apple Cinnamon Bliss fruit butter 
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar 
  • ½ cup olive oil 
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 
  • ½ teaspoon salt 
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper (because a little spice is always nice!)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl whisk together the apple butter, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

  2. For a smooth and creamy dressing, transfer the mixture to a  jar with a lid and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds, or until well combined. Alternatively, you can use an immersion blender to emulsify the dressing.

  3. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add a touch more sweetness from the apple butter, a bit more tang from the vinegar, or a pinch more salt and pepper.
